Fifth Meeting of the ALLPIRG/Advisory Group (ALLPIRG/5) ICAO Headquarters, Montréal, 23 - 24 March 2006

The ALLPIRG/Advisory Group was established by the Council of ICAO on 25 November 1996 under the Chairmanship of Dr. Assad Kotaite, President of the Council. The ALLPIRG membership includes the Chairmen and Secretaries of ICAO's planning and implementation regional groups (PIRGs) and some of their sub-groups, as well as international organizations, global/regional service providers and other key partners involved in CNS/ATM systems implementation. ALLPIRG provides a close link between various ICAO implementation partners, discusses interregional issues involving of air navigation, air transport and technical cooperation and develops appropriate recommendations for harmonized implementation of a global ATM system. ALLPIRG has met five times to date: in April 1997, February 1998, February 1999, April 2001 and, most recently, on 23 and 24 March 2006.
