STAMP ISSUES RELATED TO ICAO (1984-1985)

Background: Although this series commemorates the 40^th anniversary of ICAO, for an unknown reason, the second and third stamps of this issue do not bear any logo and text related to the 40^th anniversary of the Organization. The ICAO emblem shown on the stamps and souvenir sheet is an early-unofficial emblem in use for some time in 1954 and 1955, with longer wings set lower on the globe than on the current emblem. At the opposite right is the correct ICAO emblem (without the acronyms) adopted in 1956.
